Landing Craft Flak (LCF)

To combat the threat of Air attack on the fleet during the D-Day landings the Allies employed the Landing Craft Flak or LCF which carried four two pounder and eight 20mm anti-aircraft guns

I was aware of LCT (Landing craft tank) and LCI (landing craft Infantry) but I had never heard or seen an LCF, I suppose I just presumed that the normal naval craft such as destroyers, battleships etc would have taken care of that.
