L249 WILLIAM FRANK PRATT. Ex Chief Petty Officer J100182, Pensioner. Born 1 August 1905 at Bournemouth Hampshire to Walter William and Annie Louise Pratt, nee Hinton. 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 9 Palmerston Road, Boscombe, Hampshire. On the 8 December 1920 he enlisted into the Royal Navy as Boy 2nd Class J100182 on HMS Impregnable. When he reached the age of 18 years. He enlisted 1 August 1923 for a period of 12 years starting as Ordinary Seaman. He was discharged from the navy to pension as Chief Petty Officer 31 July 1945 on HMS St Angelo, shore base, Malta. He resided in Pieta, Malta and died 19th December 1953 aged 48 years.
