- L181 JOHN DAVIES. Pensioner. Died at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta 30th March 1928 aged 77 of carcinoma of rectum, and anal stricture fistula. His naval records show he was born 27th May 1852 at Bayston Hill, Salop, Enlisted 1st January 1873 number 44130. On the 15th September 1890 he was discharged to shore with pension at Malta with the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class.
At rest in Plot L, Grave 181, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Kalkara, Malta.
