- L168 GEORGE BOWLES. Police Constable H.M. Dockyard, Malta died 7th November 1920 of kidney disease. He may have been the following. George Bowles born 1886 in Camberwell, Surrey. In 1911 boarding at the home of William and Francis Biswell, occupation, police constable aged 25 years.
