Kenneth WILKINSON. D.C.M killed in action 1914 aged 20, [CWGC data] Private 345646,24th Royal Welsh Fusiliers died of wounds 2nd November 1917 aged 20, son of John and Ellen, nee Fowell. Commemorated on his parent memorial at Forsbrook Cemetery, Staffordshire and is buried at Beersheba War Cemetery, Israel
In 1911 he was residing with his parents at Cheadle Road, Forsbrook, Staffordshire. Occupation aged 14, errand boy.

((Stoke-on-Trent). For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty as runner. He carried out his duties
with great skill and entire disregard of danger. He volunteered to return over the enemy's wire through heavy fire to bring forward a Lewis gun. He showed splendid courage and determination.
