- K084 Giovanni ZAMMIT. Officers Cook 1st Class L5569, Royal Navy on HMS Royal Sovereign. Born 8 May 1893 at Malta. Enlisted 14 July 1914 on HMS Hannibal. Occupation prior to enlistment, cook. Died at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 5th August 1927 aged 44 years of Cerebral Tuberculosis. His wife was informed of his death 6 August 1927. Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence was given as Sliema, Malta. Effects went to Gaetana Zammit, widow and Maria Marmara wife of Alfredo Marmara. (Naval records show John Zammit)
