K075 Joseph WALSH. Able Seaman Tyneside Z/349, R.N.V.R., HMS Benbow, Royal Naval Division. Born 2 October 1885 to Mrs. Ann Walsh of 17 James Street, Hazelrigg, Dudley. Enlisted 13 October 1914, occupation prior to enlistment, miner. Died from a bullet wound to his chest at 8.20pm at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 3rd July 1915 aged 29 years. Husband of Mary Ann Walsh, nee Turner of 29 Lime Street, Wigan, Lancashire who was informed of his death.
