K015 John VEALE. Leading Seaman 188691, Royal Navy on HMS Implacable. Born 12 March 1880 at Abbeyside, County Waterford, Ireland. Enlisted at Devonport 7 April 1896, occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Died 22nd April 1905 aged 25 years from a dislocation of his spine. Thrown backwards out of a cart while on shore leave at Civitavecchia, Valletta, Malta 19 April 1905. His father was informed of his death 1 May 1905.
