K013 William MCNAMARA. Ordinary Seaman, SS733 Royal Navy on HMS Hermione. Born 12 July 1886 at Wednesbury, Staffordshire to John and Catherine McNamara, nee Kelly. 1891 residing with his parents and siblings at 21 Trouse Croft, Wednesbury. 1901 residing with his widowed father and siblings at 3 Cross Street, Wednesbury. Enlisted at Portsmouth 30 August 1904 on HMS Queen I. Occupation prior to enlistment, furnace labourer. Died at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta 21st November 1904 aged 18 years of a malignant new growth. His father was informed of his death 29 November 1904.
