- Joshua LAXTON. Corporal 801445, Royal Air Force (Auxiliary Air Force). Stationed at 21 Operational Training Unit at RAF Moreton in Marsh. Born 1914 in Kensington to Frank Ernest and Sarah Sophia Laxton, nee Mooney. He was part of crew of Wellington R1146 when he was killed in an aircraft accident along with Pilot Officer J E A H Fairfax, Sergeant J F Duggan, Sergeant D Winstanley, Sergeant O J Simmonds, Sergeant V A Taylor, Aircraftman E C Ryall in Warwickshire 4 October 1941, he was aged 26.
At rest in Moreton in Marsh New Cemetery, Gloucestershire.
