- John William PEAKALL, died on 4th July 1906 aged 43, the Mate of HM Dockyard Tug, Sampson after a long illness. He left a widow and young children. Husband of Emma Bathezia Peakall, nee Hill who he married in 1886 in Devon. In 1901 he was Mate on H.M. Steam Tug, Perseverance at HM Dockyard, Devonport.
At rest in Plot B Grave 127, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
