Extended Description: Private 307238 John William CHANDLER. 15th Royal Tank Corps, formerly 166563, Royal Engineers. Fell in action at Courtcilles, 21 August 1918 aged 28. Son of Harry and Mary Hannah Chandler 18, Victoria Street, Cheadle and husband of Charlotte Chandler, nee Adams of Bank Top, Boundary, Cheadle, Staffs. Husband of Charlotte. He is dcommemorated on the memorial of Alfred Adams in All Saints Churchyard, Dilhorne, Staffordshire.

At rest at Bucquoy Road Cemetery, Ficheux, France.
