John Northmore BANBURY. Leading Seaman 193454, Royal Navy on HMS Aboukir. Born 7th October 1881 (as stated on his naval record) at Tamerton Foliott, Devon, enlisted 6th April 1897, occupation prior to enlistment, errand boy. Died 7th February 1909 aged 28 years from enteric fever in a hospital in Malta. His mother was informed of his death 9th February 1909 At rest in Plot B Grave 170, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta (Unmarked burial)
