- MOON John. Leading Stoker, 300050 Royal Navy on HMS Minerva (Egmont). Born 16 September 1878 at Dungannon County Tyrone Ireland enlisted 4 March 1902 on HMS Vivid II occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Died 16th May 1918 aged 40 years in a hospital in Malta of a fractured spine. His widow of 44 Ruth Street off Duncairn Gardens Belfast Ireland was informed of his death the next day.
At rest in Plot C Grave 373 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
