BRUCE Daniel Private 84, 1st, Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders. Enlisted at Glasgow 18th September 1908 aged 19, occupation, carter. His mother Barbara of 106 Kidston Street, Glasgow was his next of kin. Stationed in Malta from the 15th September 1909 and died of appendicitis 6th January 1911 aged 21. His mother was granted a gratuity on the 13th February 1911.
