Poppy Cross laid at Blythe Bridge War Memorial, Staffordshire on remembrance Sunday 2014.
Private 61335 John DURHAM, Duke of Lancaster\'s Own Yeomanry, 12th Manchester Regiment, formerly 13039, South Lancashire Regiment killed in action August 24th 1918 aged 32. He was the husband of Elizabeth Ann nee Harrison of 12, Fowden Street, Wigan. In 1911 he was a married man and living with his wife at 21, Barton Street, Preston, Lancashire, occupation, labourer. He is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial, France.
