ATHERTON, John. Sergeant 3522744, Manchester Regiment died 09/06/1944 aged 37. He was the son of Adam and Elizabeth Atherton, of Leigh and he was the husband of Florence Atherton, of Leigh. He is at rest in Leigh Cemetery, Lancashire.
