- GARNETT Jerry Knowles, Lieutenant, 3rd East Lancashire Brigade, Royal Field Artillery(Territorial). Born 16th April 1895, died at Malta 6th November 1915 of Enteric Fever contracted while on active service at the Dardanelles. Beloved son of Frank and Bertha Garnett, Buxton, England. Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.
