Jasper Willeard. Boy 1st Class 213912 Royal Navy on HMS Bacchante.
Born 13th June 1885 at Rye, Essex to Harry Willard and Elizabeth Mary Willeard, nee Dove.
1891, residing with parents and siblings in Rye.
1901 aged 15 years in Royal Navy, on HMS St Vincent. First Class Training Ship classed as boy, crossed out, then navy men Crew Purple
Enlisted 4th March 1901, occupation prior to enlistment, Page Boy.
Died 22 May 1903 aged 17 years of disease of digestive organ, following intestinal obstruction. Purpura haemorrhagica, possible Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta. His father was informed of his death.
At rest in Plot A. Grave 44 in Capuccini (sometime Kalkara) Naval Cemetery, Malta
