JAMISON Robert

JAMISON Robert (Bertie) Private 17943 , 14th Royal Irish Rifles (Y.C.V's) killed in action at the battle of the Somme, 1st July 1916 aged 22. He was the youngest son of Alexander and Elizabeth of "Florenceville, 96 Ormeau Road Belfast and brother James Clawson who also fell. In 1911 he was an apprentice linen warehouse He is commemorated on his parents memorial in Knockbreda churchyard, Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is at rest in the A.I.F. Burial Ground, Flers, Somme, France.
