JAMES TAIT, alias Logue. Private 1325 Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment) died 5 October 1915. His widow Margaret McKenzie Logue was granted a war gratuity 20 April 1916 revised 11 May 1916 and 19 August 1919.

JOHN WILLIAM DARWIN. Acting Corporal 9904. D Company, 1st Border Regiment. Born 1 February 1891 at Govan, Lanark, Scotland to John William (ex-soldier) and Bridgett nee Gannon. 1891 aged 2 months, residing with his parents at 145 Broom Loan Road, Govan. 1901 with parents at 6 Spa Road, East Retford, Nottinghamshire. 1911 in the army stationed at the Border Regiment. Depot at Carlisle aged 20. Died in Malta 8th October 1915, aged 24 years, War gratuity was granted to Adah Glenn 28 February 1916 revised 30 July 1919.

His father was born at Retford, Nottinghamshire and joined the Royal Southern Reserve Regiment as Private 1570.

LOUIS SILAS LAFOND. Born 4 May 1873 at Vienna. 2nd Cannonier conducteur, (2nd Driver gunner) 30 Artillery Regiment. He was invalided to Malta, ship name not known. Died 3 October 1915 aged 42 of his wounds in Tigne Military Hospital, Malta. His death certificate was registered at the Embassy.
