James NUTTALL, 6920, Died 21st October 1914.
(CWGC information) Private 6920, 1st North Staffordshire Regiment killed in action 21st October 1914, near Chappelle.. Son of James and Mary Helen Nuttall, of 75, Longsight, Harwood, Bolton. 1911 of 39, Burton Terrace Uttoxeter, occupation, blacksmith striker and an agricultural iron foundry. Native of Uttoxeter, enlisted at the same place on the 10th June 1903. Commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial, Hainaut, Belgium. Also commemorated on a Poppy Cross at Uttoxeter War Memorial, 8th November 2015
