- Lieutenant James MacKAY, B.Sc. 3rd attached to the 1st Gordon Highlanders. Killed at Hooge on the 25th September 1915 aged 23. Born 1892 at Keiss, Caithness, Scotland, to William M and Jessie of 63, Castlereagh Street, Belfast, Ireland. Commemorated on his parents memorial in Dundonald Cemetery, Dundonald, Northern Ireland and is at rest in Sanctuary Wood Cemetery, Belgium
