- Acting Sub Lieutenant, Engineer, James Cairns FERGUSON Royal Naval (VR) on H.M.S. St Briac. killed while on active service 12th March 1942 aged 27 He was the son of Joseph Barron and Annie, and he was the husband of Margaret of Southampton, Hampshire He is commemorated on his parents memorial at Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland and also on the Liverpool Naval Memorial, Lancashire.
