James BARBER

BARBER, James. Private 39886, 5th South Wales Borderers, fell in action at Kemmel, Belgium on the 14th April 1918 aged 31. He was the son of James and Mary of Macclesfield. "His duty nobly done" He is commemorated on a family memorial at Macclesfield Cemetery, Cheshire, and he is at rest in Wulverghem-Lindenhoek Road Military Cemetery, Belgium
