WHITTAKER, Jack. Private 4117733, 8th Home Defence Battalion, Cheshire Regiment died 12th March 1941 aged 41 at the Wirral. He was the son of Charles and Ada of Macclesfield, and he was the husband of Elizabeth of Tipton, Staffordshire. He is at rest in Macclesfield Cemetery Cheshire.
