HOPKINS Jack Alexander. Guardsman 2661919, 3rd Coldstream Guards. Died 17 March 1943 aged 29. Born 14 October 1913 to Harley and Annie Whieldon Hopkins, nee Mountford of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. Commemorated on the Medjez-El-Bab Memorial, Tunisia
1911 His father aged 24 and single was residing with his parents Thomas and Louisa at 91 Botteslow Street, Hanley occupation coal miner hewer.
1911 His mother aged 21 was a boarder at the home of Emma Jones (widow) at 31 Longfield Terrace, Hanley, occupation pottery transferrer.
1939 He was residing with his parents at Brentwood, Abbey Road, Stoke-on-Trent. occupation, grocers shop assistant.

Jack Alexander HOPKINS of Brentwood, Abbey Road, Hanley Stoke-on-Trent died between 16 and 17 March 1943 on war service. His effects went to his mother Annie Hopkins, widow.
