- Flight Lieutenant Jack Alan SHELLEY No. 163846 of RAF Little Rissington.
Born 4 April 1920. Died 4 February 1954 aged 33 at Hinchwick, Cutsdean, Gloucestershire.
Laid to rest 8 February 1954.
He resided at 1 Spring Cottages, Naunton, Gloucestershire.
He was flying a Sea Fury FB.11 WE821 along with Flight Lieutenant J H Verral. The aircraft went into an uncontrollable spin and crashed. Flt Lt Verrall ejected and survived, Jack died at the scene.
At rest at Little Rissington St Peter Churchyard, Gloucestershire.
