Born 3 July 1872 at Heaton Norris, Stockport, to John and Caroline Duncan, of Manchester. Her father was a wholesale provisions merchant.
1911 Pupil teacher at Heaton Norris.
After nursing training worked as a staff nurse at New Hospital for Women in London and then went into private nursing. Worked at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Enlisted 1915
First orders Malta.
8 May 1916 posted Nb13 Stationary Hospital.
Died 1 March 1917 aged 45 of pleuro-pneumonia at 13th Stationary Hospital, France.
Her service medals issued 1 July 1921.
At rest in Wimereux Communal Cemetery, France.
