The memorial is in the grounds of Christ Church, the parish church

in the Great War 1914-1919

ALLSOPP Thomas Private 203575, 1/5th Territorial Force, South Staffordshire Regiment, killed in action 7th December 1917. Son of Mr A Allsopp of Hulland. Buried at Philosophe British Cemetery, Mazingarbe, France
HYDES James Private 2497, Sherwood Foresters, Notts & Derby Regiment died 23rd December 1914. Son of Frank & Elizabeth of Hulland House, Hulland. Commemorated on the Screen Wall Memorial at Burngreave Cemetery, Sheffield
JINKS Benjamin George Private 23209, 3rd Grenadier Guards, died between the 14th and 17th September 1916 aged 20. Son of Mrs Mary Ann Jinks of The Nook, Gretton, Kettering, Northants. Commemorated on the Thiepval memorial, Somme, France
MORLEY John William Gunner 77864, 139th Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, died 19th October 1917 aged 21. Son of John Francis and Louisa of Grange Farm, Shottle. Born at Biggin, Derbyshire and is buried at Christ Church, churchyard, Hulland
