I colourize these photos using my Adobe Photoshop program. I can complete a high quality photo in 3 -4 hours but lower quality photos can take up to three tiimes as long. Matzos has kindly sent me a copy of his HMS Royal Oak photo which I hope to start colourizing ASAP.
In my job I use Photoshop a lot. However, I have never seen it used for this. You have a great skill. Keep up the excellent work. Cannot wait to see the Royal Oak image.
HMS Hood as part of the International Patrol off Spain during the civil war. All members of the Patrol had their national colours promenently painted on a turret for recognition from the air.
