PENDLEBURY, Herbert. Sergeant 3531412, 5th Manchester Regiment, 111th Regiment Royal Armoured Corps (The 111th Regiment RAC was formed on 1 November 1941 by the conversion to the armoured role of 5th Battalion of the Manchester Regiment) He died on the 29/06/1943 aged 23. He was the son of Wilfred and Doris M of Leigh. He is also at rest in Leigh Cemetery, Lancashire.
