- Herbert Payn CHURCHILL. 2nd Lieutenant, Royal Engineers. Died of enteric fever contracted in the trenches at Gallipoli, 20th October 1915, aged 27 years. He was the son of Catherine Mary and Colonel Arthur Gillespie Churchill. The husband of Dorothea Hester Churchill, of 20 Ashburn Place, South Kensington, London.
He is at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot A Row XVI Grave 6
