SHARPLEY, Herbert Leigh. Warrant Officer, Navigator, 1582077, 254 Squadron, Royal Air Force (VR) died 28th December 1945 aged 23. He was the son of William Ashton and Ida of Handsworth, Birmingham. He is at rest in Macclesfield Cemetery Cheshire.
