E. EA. A. 602. Herbert ENTWISTLE. Private 2773 1st/5th Bn. East Lancashire Regiment. Died 10 October 1915 aged 39 years of dysentery. Born 1877 at Blackburn to John and Ann Entwistle. 1881 residing with his parents and siblings at 14 Dock Street, Blackburn, Lancashire. 1891 with parents at siblings at 39 Audley Street, Blackburn, occupation aged 13 years, cotton weaver. 1901 still at home, residing at 88 Lambeth Street, Blackburn, occupation, cotton weaver. 1911 now married, residing with his wife Mary Ann Entwistle, nee Marshall at 15 Hyde Street, Burnley, later at No 7. Occupation 1911 cotton weaver. His widow was granted a war gratuity 2 June 1916, revised 5 August 1919.

E. EA. A. 602. Eugene John O’HALLORAN. Driver 2537, 2nd Battery, Australian Field Artillery, 1st Brigade. Son of Eugene John and Elizabeth Jane O'Halloran. Native of Crowlands, Victoria, Australia. He enlisted on the 1st September 1914 aged 23, occupation, farm labourer. Next of kin was his brother. D M of Stockinbingal, New South Wales. He embarked from Sydney on H.M.A.T. A8 Argyllshire on the 18th October 1914 to Gallipoli. He was taken ill whilst at Gallipoli Peninsula and was treated at No 1 Australian Casualty Clearing Station at Gallipoli. 19th August he was invalided to Malta admitted to hospital in Malta from Hospital Ship, Ascania on the 25th August 1915 suffering from dysentery. Died 10th October 1915 aged 24 in a hospital in Malta of dysentery and cerebellum tumor. He was laid to rest by Father Ferris. At rest in Addolorata Cemetery, Malta.
E. EA. A. 602. Hugh KELLY Private 18448 1st Bn. Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Born 1884 at Newarthill, Lanarkshire to Robert and Jane, nee Reynolds. 1891 and 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 55 Omoa Square, Shotts, Lanarkshire. 1901 occupation aged 17 years, coal miner Died in a hospital in Malta of dystenry 11 October 1915. His widow Jane nee Jeffrey who he married in 1908 was granted a war gratuity 21 January 1916, revised 3 December 1919.
