Army Service Corps attached to II Corps Heavy Artillery killed in action in France 19 August 1917 age 24 Son of George and Elizabeth Ann of 10 Cheltenham Road, Stratton Glos formerly of Scrubditch Cottage, North Cerney, Glos. Brother of Frank George who also fell. Commemorated on a family memorial at St Mary Magdalene Churchyard, Baunton, Gloucestershire and is at rest in Reninghelst New Military Cemetery, Belgium.
