WEIR, Henry Keith Crichton, 2nd Lieutenant, 10th South Staffordshire Regiment, attached to the Notts and Derby Regiment. Born 22nd June 1892, died of wounds in Netley Hospital, Southampton on the 3rd May 1916 aged 23. He was the son of Henry Crichton Weir and Elizabeth Singer O'Neill Weir, of Iniscora, Downpatrick. He is at rest in Down Cathedral New Cemetery, County Down.

WEIR, HENRY KEITH CRICHTON, 2nd Lieutenant, 10th Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment. He was the eldest on of Henry Crichton Weir, LL.B., solicitor, and Elizabeth Singer O'Neill Weir, of Iniscora, Downpatrick. He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, and before the outbreak of war he held an appointment in the Convoy woollen mills. He was wounded at the Dardanelles on 15th October, 1915, and was invalided to Netley hospital where it was found necessary to amputate his right leg in February last. He succumbed on the 3rd May, 1916, at the age of 23. He was a member of Orange Lodge 431
