HALLIDAY Henry Hayden. Private, 11548, C Coy., 12th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. Died of his wounds, 10th February 1918, aged 29 years. The son of Jesse Halliday, of Cranleigh, Guildford, Police Sergeant. The husband of Mary Elizabeth Halliday, of Cherry Tree Cottage, New Town, Tadley, Basingstoke. Only goodnight beloved. Not farewell.

MARSTON Thomas. Private, M2/120754, 603rd M.T. Coy., Royal Army Service Corps, Died of dysentery, 12th January 1918, aged 42 years. The son of Thomas and Mary Marston, of 15 South Road, Englefield Green, Surrey.

JONES Walter James Sapper, 22585, 28th Fortress Coy, Royal Engineers, died 26th December 1917 at La Concezione, Cospiqua, Malta of asphyxiation from suffocation (extract from his army record). Born at Ystrad, lived at Pentre and enlisted at Ton Pentre all in Glamorganshire. Son of Daniel and Hannah Maria of 72 Pleasant Street, Pentre, Ystrad, Glamorganshire.

He joined up on the 20th February 1912 at Cardiff aged 30.
On the 9th January 1914 in Malta and on the 5th August 1914 was on active service in Malta. He died on the 26th December 1917 from of asphyxiation, from suffocation.
