Lieutenant Colonel Henry George Bowen RAITT. Royal Army Medical Corps , late Indian Army. Born 11th August 1862, Commissioned 10th March 1893. Promoted to Lt Colonel, 10th March 1894. Retired 20th December 1915. Died 28th December 1958 at King George V Merchant Seamens Memorial Hospital Malta, G.C. He lived at 3 Sonoll Flats Dragut Street, Tigne, Malta.

BENGAL STAFF CORPS. To be Lieutenant. Lieutenant Henry George Bowen Raitt, from the Bombay Staff Corps. Dated 5th October, 1888,
to rank from 10th March, 1888. At rest in Ta-Braxia Cemetery, Malta.
His wife Amy, is at rest in Mullion, Cornwall.

Their only son, Lieutenant, Alexander Redmayne Raitt, 2nd Rajput Light Infantry, killed in action in the attempted relief of Kut, Mesopotamia, 8th March 1916 aged 23. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry have an address for him in England, 35 Leinster Square, Bayswater, Middlesex. He is commemorated on his father's grave stone in Ta-Braxia Cemetery, Malta and also on the Basra Memorial, Iraq
And laid here, Winnifred Mary CINNAMOND, daughter of the above Lt Colonel and Mrs Mrs Raitt and beloved wife of Lt Colonel Charles Henry Lalanne Cinnamond Born 25th September 1889 in India and passed on 27th June 1967 in Malta. Her husband died in Cornwall, England, on the 8th January 1933. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry. CINNAMOND, Charles Henry Lalanne of Polbream, Cornwall died 8th January 1933. Probate to his widow, Winifred Mary and Francis Knox Pomeroy, retired army major and Helen Pomeroy, wife of Francis Knox Pomeroy).
