Sapper 25763 Harry SHARLOCK. 28th Company, Royal Engineers who died at Valletta Hospital 6th April 1899 aged 32. Son of William Henry and Sarah Turner, nee Martin.

He joined up on the 3rd June 1891 aged 24 years and 6 months. His next of kin was his father William Henry of 6 Chester Street, Wolverhampton, formerly of 6 John Street, Wolverhampton . He was employed as a fitter turner.
In 1892 while in England he passed his course on the Brennan Torpedo as a work superior. On the 13th September 1893 he embarked for Malta, while there he fell ill with phthisis (pulmonary tuberculosis) and died in Valletta Hospital on the 6th April 1899 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brennan_torpedo
