DOUGHTY, Harry James. Private, 319, 2nd City of London, Royal Army Medical Corps who died on 12 October 1915 Age 30. Born at St John's Stafford to Harry James and Ada Mary, nee Fell, of The Haven,Clifford Street, Wolverhampton, lived at Leyton Essex and enlisted at Chelsea, (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He lived at 103 Allen Road, Wolverhampton, private in the 3/2nd London Field Ambulance Corps, died 12th October 1915 at the 3rd London General Hospital Wandsworth, Surrey. His effects went to Nora Kate Byrne, spinster. She was also granted a war gratuity on the 8th March 1916, revised on the 19th August 1919. At rest in Wolverhampton Cemetery, Staffordshire.
