- Colour Sergeant 740, Harry George ELDRED. B Company 1st West Kent Regiment died at Malta 27th July 1904 aged 40. Native of Greenwich, enlisted on the 5th October 1883 and was by occupation a photographer and husband of Gertrude Elizabeth, nee Beavis. In 1911 his widow and children were living at 15, Morley Road, Lewisham, London, occupation, dress maker.
At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta Plot 1 Row 28 Grave 6.
