Born 18 May 1896 at 26 Molesworth Street, Dublin to John Mahoney, Solicitor and Anna Maxwell, nee Gaynor. 1911 boarding age 14 at Leas Hotel, 8 Clifton Gardens, Folkstone.

He was residing at Foxboro Baily, County Dublin. Died 4 April 1960. His effects went to Josephine Minnie Gaynor, spinster and James Reginald Comerford Green, solicitor.
