Born 14 August 1892 at Sarnia, Ontario to Mr. and Mrs. George C. Petty, of Hensall, Ont.
Wife of John Milton Donaldson, of 259, 6th St, Brandon, Man. She served in the CAMC as Gertrude PETTY.
Died from an attack of pleurisy 29 July 1919 aged 25, contracted while on France.

Enlisted 02 March 1916, aged 23 years, posted to Ontario Military Hospital, Orpington, South East London. 19 June 1916 posted Moore Barracks Hospital, Shorncliffe, Kent. 21 July 1916 rejoined Ontario Military Hospital.
01 August 1916 transferred to Duchess of Connaught's Canadian Red Cross Hospital, it was located at Cliveden Estate, near Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
29 August 1916 transferred back to Ontario Military Hospital, (16 Canadian G.H.) Orpington.
18 March 1917 posted to No 1 Canadian General Hospital, Etaples, France.
07 November 1917 she was posted to the Canadian Army Medical Corps Depot, Westenhanger, Kent.
03 November 1917 reported for duty at No 16 Canadian General Hospital, Orpington, Kent.
Died 29 July 1919 aged 25 years at Gensall Ontario Canada from an attack of pleurisy contracted while in France in 1918.
