H204 John Crombie BROWN. 2nd (Mate) Officer, Royal Fleet Auxilliary on vessel Lea Salvor. Born 16 August 1898 in Edinburgh to Thomas and Margaret Brown of (1901) 27 Mowbray Street, Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland. Masters Certificate issued at Newcastle Upon Tyne 10 July 1918 aged 20 years. He was last seen alive 26th December 1959 and his body was found in the Grand Harbour, Malta on the 28 December 1959. His effects went to Margaret Ann Henderson Bell, widow. Unmarked burial. Unnamed burial.
