- H149 Ernest Edward BLACKWELL. Commissioned Electrical Officer at Malta dockyard. Retired Royal Navy. Died 12 March 1948 at Royal Naval Hospital Bighi, Malta. His effects went to Jessie Blackwell, widow. His residence was given as 22 North Close, Alverstoke, Hampshire. Inscription foot of headstone – “In proud and loving memory of dear daddy our guardian angel. Jessie P & R. R.I.P.”
