Private 24880, Samuel Greenwood, 1st Sherwood Foresters, transferred to as Private 656684, Labour Corps of, 12, South Street, Chesterfield He was found dead at 66, Rutland Road, Chesterfield on the 8th December 1919. Cause of death was dislocation of the neck. This information was found in his Army records. He enlisted 30th March 1915 and served in France from the 14th November 1915 to 9th February 1917, back in England then he returned to France on the 5th December 1917. He was Demob on the 7th September 1919 to his wife's address at 12, South Street, Chesterfield His occupation prior to enlistment was a Carter and his wife's name was Paulina nee Moore of Chesterfield
