Lieutenant Cyril William WINTERBOTHAM 1/5th Gloucestershire Regiment killed in action 27th August 1916. He was the son of Reverened John Bernard and Eliza Hunter Winterbotham of Winterbotham, Gurney and Co Cheltenham. At the time of his death his home address was 2, Temple Gardens, Middlesex. In 1891 he was living with his parents at Cranley, Cheltenham. Native of Cheltenham. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France

Lieutenant Lionel Watson MOORE, 5th Gloucestershire Regiment, formerly Private 2736 Gloster Regt, killed in action27th August 1916 aged 22.
