- Gilbert LAING-MEASON. Leading Aircraftman 1267845, Pilot under training. Royal Air Force (VR) died 26th July 1941 aged 23. Son of Gilbert Laing-Meason and of Thelma Laing-Meason (nee McKean), of Guanaco, F.C.O., Argentina. His brother, Sqdn. Ldr. Patrick Beverley Laing-Meason, D.F.C., also died on service on the 28th October 1944. At rest in London Road Cemetery, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
