- Georgina Fanny Sarah GODDING, (nee Hayne). Wife of Surgeon General Charles Cane Godding. C.B. Royal Navy. Died 18th July 1916 aged 56. She was born on the 20th January 1860 at Greenwich, Kent, daughter of Leonard Henry Joseph and Georgina Charlotte nee Hayne. Baptised on the 20th February 1860 in Greenwich. Her father was a surgeon and living at Greenwich Hospital. They were married in 1887 in the Registration District of Portsea, Hampshire.

In 1891 Charles Cane Godding was living at his father in laws home ,Leonard Henry Joseph Hayne 34, Elphiustone Road, Portsea with his wife and daughter. He was a retired Fleet Surgeon, Royal Navy aged 39. In 1911 they were living at Belle Vice Villa, Matlock Bath, Derbyshire . He was a Royal Navy Inspector General of Hospitals, retired. He died in 1939 aged 87 in the district of Chichester, Sussex.
